When contacting us by electronic mail (e-mail):

Information that you send to us unencrypted by electronic mail (e-mail) may be read by third parties during transmission. As a rule, we are also unable to verify your identity and do not know who is behind an e-mail address. Legally secure communication by simple e-mail is therefore not guaranteed. Like many e-mail providers, we use filters against unwanted advertising (“SPAM filters”), which in rare cases automatically classify normal e-mails as unwanted advertising and delete them.

E-mails containing harmful programs (“viruses”) are automatically deleted by us in all cases.

If you wish to send us messages worthy of protection, we recommend that you send them to us by conventional post.

Please also let us know whether and how we can send you encrypted e-mails to reply to your messages and whether – if this is not possible – you agree to an unencrypted e-mail reply to your letter. If you do not have the option of receiving encrypted e-mails, please provide us with your postal address so that we can reply to your sensitive messages.

1.1 Disclosure of data to third parties

We only pass on your personal data if you have expressly consented to this, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims arising from the relationship between you and BlooRidge GmbH.

In addition, we pass on your data to third parties insofar as this is necessary in the context of using the website to provide the services you have requested and to analyze your user behavior. If the website contains links to third-party websites, BlooRidge GmbH no longer has any influence on the collection, processing, storage or use of personal data by the third party after clicking on these links and assumes no responsibility for this.

1.2 Data Security

We use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data stored by us against manipulation, partial or complete loss and against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

You should always treat your data confidentially and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share your computer with others.

We also take data protection within the company very seriously. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us have been obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with data protection regulations.

1.3 Cookies

Cookies help in many ways to make your visit to our website easier, more pleasant and more meaningful. Cookies are information files that your web browser automatically saves on your computer’s hard disk when you visit our website. Cookies do not damage your computer’s hard disk, nor do they transmit personal user data to us.

We use cookies, for example, to better tailor the information, offers and advertising displayed to you to your individual interests. Their use does not result in us receiving any new personal data about you as an online visitor. Most Internet browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that a message always appears when you receive a new cookie.

If you deactivate cookies, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website.

1.4 Social media links

BlooRidge GmbH uses social media links that lead to the official social media accounts of BlooRidge GmbH.

LinkedIn

Another external link leads to the official account of BlooRidge GmbH on LinkedIn Inc, Montain View, CA 94107, USA. You can recognize the LinkedIn link (LinkedIn button) by the LinkedIn logo on our site.

If you click on the link while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages to your LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. Further information on this can be found in LinkedIn’s privacy policy.

If you do not want LinkedIn to be able to associate your visit to our pages, please log out of your LinkedIn user account before clicking on the corresponding link on our website.

1.5 Note on data transfers to the USA

For the sake of completeness, we would like to point out to users residing or domiciled in Switzerland that there are surveillance measures in place in the USA by US authorities that generally allow the storage of all personal data of all persons whose data has been transferred from Switzerland to the USA. This is done without differentiation, restriction or exception based on the objective pursued and without an objective criterion that makes it possible to restrict the US authorities’ access to the data and its subsequent use to very specific, strictly limited purposes that justify the interference associated with both access to this data and its use. We would also like to point out that there are no legal remedies available in the USA for data subjects from Switzerland that would allow them to gain access to the data concerning them and to obtain its correction or deletion, or that there is no effective legal protection against general access rights of US authorities. We explicitly draw the attention of the data subject to this legal and factual situation so that they can make an appropriately informed decision to consent to the use of their data.

We would like to point out to users residing in a member state of the EU that the USA does not have an adequate level of data protection from the perspective of the European Union – partly due to the issues mentioned in this section. Insofar as we have explained in this privacy policy that recipients of data (such as Google, Facebook and Twitter) are based in the USA, we will ensure that your data is protected at an appropriate level by our partners either through contractual arrangements with these companies or by ensuring that these companies are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

1.6 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: “http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de”.

We continue to use Google Analytics to analyze data from double-click cookies and AdWords for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate this via the Ads Preferences Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).

We use Google Analytics including the functions of Universal Analytics. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze the activities on our pages across devices (e.g. when accessed via a laptop and later via a tablet). This is made possible by the pseudonymous assignment of a user ID to a user. Such an assignment is made, for example, when you register for a customer account or log in to your customer account. However, no personal data is forwarded to Google. Even if Universal Analytics adds additional functions to Google Analytics, this does not mean that data protection measures such as IP masking or the browser add-on are restricted.

1.7 Right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing; Right to data portability

You have the right to receive information about the personal data that we store about you free of charge upon request. In addition, you have the right to rectification of inaccurate data and the right to erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”), insofar as this does not conflict with a statutory retention obligation or an authorization that allows us to process the data. In accordance with Articles 18 and 21 GDPR, you also have the right to request the restriction of data processing and to object to data processing.

You also have the right to request that we return the data that you have provided to us (right to data portability). On request, we will also pass the data on to a third party of your choice. You have the right to receive the data in a commonly used file format.
You can contact us for the aforementioned purposes via the e-mail address info@blooridge.com. In order to process your requests, we may, at our discretion, request proof of identity.

You can also tell us what to do with your data after your death by giving us appropriate instructions.

1.8 Storage of data

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary:

  • to use the above-mentioned tracking, advertising and analysis services within the scope of our legitimate interest
  • to perform services that you have requested or for which you have given your consent, to the extent specified above
  • to comply with our legal obligations.

Contract data is stored by us for longer as this is required by statutory retention obligations. Retention obligations that oblige us to retain data result from accounting and tax regulations. If we no longer need this data to perform the services for you, the data will be blocked. This means that the data may then only be used for accounting and tax purposes.

1.9 Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

If you are resident in an EU country, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time. For BlooRidge GmbH, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)

1.10 Changes to the privacy policy

Changes to the data protection declaration can be made by BlooRidge GmbH at any time. Therefore, please consult this declaration regularly.
